Aachan gold was gold from the planet Aachan. Unlike regular gold from Santhenar, Aachan gold had a red-gold hue and was possessed of specific magical properties that were essential for creating an instrument capable of opening the Way Between the Worlds. Aachan gold was also extremely difficult to find and was much rarer than the gold of Santhenar. Aachan gold was used to create the Golden Flute.
