Phrune was the acolyte of Vivimord, who served him most faithfully by utilizing his skills as a sadistic killer; harvesting the pure skin of young men and women to create charmed leather to soothe Vivimord's damaged skin.
Following Vivimord's grave injury during the attack on Mistmurk Mountain, Phrune gave a blood sacrafice to the cursed flame, as Maelys Nifferlin had struck him a killing blow, which healed his master. However, Vivimord's Arts reanimated his corpse, which in turn was destroyed by the chthonic fire.
